Civil Process Serving Rates (Not Including Additional Fees)

All attempts include one morning before 10 AM, one midday (10:01 AM–6:00 PM), one evening (6:00 PM–9:00 PM), and one on a Saturday at any time. Discounts on extra citations are only for the respondents of the same person.

Additional Process Serving Fees

• **Mileage:** \$2 per mile (round trip) for distance over 10 miles from Buda City Hall. *First-time customers are charged one-way, then round trip on the next order. Mileage can decrease by 50¢ per mile (lowest rate is $1/mile) after every 5 orders.*
• **Document Printing:** 5¢ per extra page for orders over 30 pages of required paperwork (after the 31st page).
• **Address Change:** \$25 plus \$1/mile if the new address is >5 miles from the original destination. *This rate only applies if the change of address is within the initial 4 visits. If the 4 visits have already been attempted, the same case can be reassigned for a 15% discount.*
• **Media of Service:** Pictures are included; video with sound available on request for **\$30**.
• **Affidavit Filing Fee:** Client will pay the full price for the filing fee of affidavits, if one is required.
• **Unanswered Attempts:** All unanswered attempts will have a notice pinned somewhere practical and noticeable on the property with a picture sent to the client.

Notary Services

Notary Travel Fees (Traditional Mobile Notary)

• **Base Travel Fee:** \$25 for the first 10 miles from Buda City Hall.
• **Additional Mileage:** \$2 per mile for each mile beyond 10 miles (round trip).
• **After-Hours Fee:** A **\$30** after-hours fee applies. (Closed on Sundays).

E-Notary (Remote Online Notarization) Flat Fees

These flat fees are charged **per session** and are **added to** the standard statutory notary charges below. Each session includes the first two signatures, with an additional $5 charge for each signature after the first two.
